Lightel Systems developed a 10 Gbps ring based LAN technology for high-end web farm and Storage Area Network applications.

The product was a PCI card with 4 OC-48 interfaces (and CWDM Optics), two large FPGAs, and an Intel network processor

Eden helped develop the system architecture (similar to RPR) and did the prototype module design

We developed the FPGA designs which provide prioritized packet based add/drop for the full 10 Gbps.
